How to Protect Your PenDrive
If you are a Pen Drive user, always you are exposed to catch some worms and viruses by inserting this element in every computer that you need to use. Sometimes, you need to work at cybercafe and their PC are not “clean”.
Well, with this simple method you can protect you Pen Drive.
How? By creating an autorun.inf folder.. thats all.
Why does this procedure is effective?
Because Windows system don’t allows to create a file or folder with a same name in a same directory.
Enjoy!!

That’s great! I’ll definitely try this folder.
Thanks for the information.

Well first things first, I created an autorun.ini file to change the flash drive icon. This got replaced by a virus as soon as the school network got a virus. Note: this got REPLACED by a virus with no confirmation from me. This alerted me of a virus since by overwriting the file, the icon went away. This tip might either work only with a folder or is just a warning system for a virus. Either way, this isn’t foolproof.

“Because Windows system don’t allows to create a file or folder with a same name in a same directory” - yeah - I created new folder with exactly the same name as new text file inside of a folder and there was no error from Windows.
Really useless advice
